COZY UP TO GREAT BOOKS ADULT WINTER READING PROGRAM
Get ready for a winter full of reading, prizes and events for everyone with the Chadron Public Library's Adult Winter Reading Program.
This years's theme is "Cozy Up To Great Books at Chadron Public Library". Registration Starts January 21, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. Each book read will give a chance to enter weekly drawings.
To kick off the Library's second Adult Winter Reading program, a tea tasting party will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Come to savor exotic teas and munch on delicious scones while you register for the program! All activities are designed for adults (age 18 years old and up)

Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. "Journal Around Your World, Part I" Learn How to start a personal journal and how to make it a tool of self discovery.
Friday, February 10, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Serendipity Brown Bag Lunch. An hour of free spirited creativity for the young at heart. Bring your lunch bag and spend one hour with easy fun crafts and activities.
Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. "Journal Around Your World, Part II". Keep going with your journal and continue to have fun with simple but useful techniques.
Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Valentine Making Brown Bag Lunch. Bring your lunch bag and spend one hour making valentines.
Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. Discover Overdrive. A guide to download audio and e-books from the free database.
Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. Computer 101. An introduction fo the use of computers (laptop and tower).
Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. Internet & E-Mail. Learn how to surf the internet and/or set up and email account for beginners.
Tuesday, March 20, 2012 ****Last day to turn in reading slips!!****
Wednesday, March 21, 2012 grand prize drawing, and winner announcement.
