Preschool Storytime @ the Library
The library welcomes children to join one of the upcoming storytime sessions at the Library. Preschool Storytimes are from 10:30 to 11:30 AM every Tuesday & Wednesday. Children between the ages of 3 and 6 are invited to attend.

At Storytime, Children will be introduced to books and will learn to participate in group activities. A specific topic will be featured each week through the use of stories, films, songs, puppetry, flannel boards, finger plays and more.

No advance registration is necessary. Storytimes are free and open to the public. Parents are encouraged to attend the storytime programs along with their children.

Crafts for Kids @ the Library

Nothing to do afterschool? Come to the Library and join us for craft time continuing in January 2009.

Crafts for kids is free and open to children ages 8 and up. Kids are welcome to express their creativity at our library craft time. Crafts for kids are held on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month at 2:00 p.m.

Kid's Movie Festival @ the Library

Kids are you looking for something to do in the evenings? Not to mention free? Then come to the Kids' Movie Festival at the Chadron Public Library! The Annual Kids' Movie Festival will begin in March and continue through April.

The following films will be featured:

Mar. 2- Horton Hears a Who (G)
Mar. 9- Madagascar 2: Escape to Africa (PG)
Mar. 16- Journey to the Center of the Earth (PG)
Mar. 23- Tortoise vs. Hare (G)
Mar. 30- City of Ember (PG)
Apr. 6- Space Chimps (G)
Apr. 13- Animalia (G)
Apr. 20- Wall-E (G)
Apr. 27- The Clique (PG)

The Kids' Movie Festival will be held in the children's library at 6:00 p.m. Popcorn and drinks will be provided.
